The Human Resource Department provides:
resources, information, and support for MHP staff; develops and approves policies and procedures to insure employee/patient/visitor safety; and minimizes hospital liability through protection of staff rights and patient rights.
Human Resources establishes objective and timely criteria to use in the peer review process, collects and stores the appropriate documents in each personnel file.
Human Resource Department is a liaison for management and staff to facilitate effective communication and also provides coaching on employee relations and issue resolutions.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
Perform a wide variety of clerical, technical, administrative, and office support duties in support of the Human Resources department.
Provide customer service, both in-person and by telephone; answer questions from employees.
Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements personnel files.
Learn all the processes of the HR Dept over time so to understand all positions.
Maintain licensure logs of current employees and reach out to those employees to acquire their current licenses.
Assist in the monitoring and granting of STD/FMLA.
Assist with Insurance benefits and enrollment of new employees to such websites.
Qualifications:
Requirements include but are not limited to:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
Two years minimum of office clerical work.
Must have strong background in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must be self motivated and able to work without supervision.
Must be able to carry out written and verbal instruction.
Must have a positive, pleasant attitude towards others.
Able to multitask efficiently and prioritize effectively.
Willing to adapt as needed to support leaders and employees with frequent interruptions.
