Market Development Specialist The Musco Marketing Team is currently seeking a Market Development Specialist to work from our Oskaloosa officeThis position will focus on providing a bridge between marketing and sales through the use of research and data combined with field sales and customer conversations to identify trends and opportunities for the development of specific territoriesIf you're solutions-focused, data-oriented, and value relationships, we look forward to hearing from you At Musco, our motto is, We Make It Happen.
There is a can-do, innovative spirit hereWe are problem solvers, always up for the next challengeWhile our headquarters are in Oskaloosa, Iowa, we are a global company, providing lighting solutions in more than 125 countriesWhat you will do as a Market Development Specialist Analysis & Development Provide territory trend analysis and continuous feedback to sales & marketing leadership Identify development needs and ways to build relationships and generate new sales opportunities Help territory implementation of new initiatives, products, and services Travel with the sales team and talk with customers to understand the market activity, issues, and needs Promotions & Events Build relationships and ensure follow-through on partnerships and sponsorships Optimize planning and execution of territory activities such as lunch-n-learns, webinars, tradeshows, direct marketing, ads, promotions, entertainment Organize field customer events and tours in Iowa What you will need to be successful 2-5 years of Marketing, Sales, or Data Analysis experience preferred A proven track record of developing marketing plans and focused efforts on developmental strategy Specific knowledge of and experience with research methods and trends Must be self-directed and able to make informed decisions independently Strong computer skills and ability to balance priority with good time management Ability to learn, understand and teach technical concepts and information Strong verbal and written communication skills Expecting about 30% travel for field activities Who is Musco?
