Description
Primary Purpose:
Technical leadership associated to providing design solutions aligned with sales goals and initiatives as they relate to non TV lighting and standard lighting projects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess customer's values and technical requirements associated with each project. Provide design solutions to meet these requirements using appropriate standards and products.
Ability to take lead in sales process on projects that require utilizing their technical expertise.
Manage technical aspects of complex projects so they can flow through Musco systems.
Maintain quality and integrity of the Musco lighting designs/practices.
Responsible for all technical aspects of a project from initial concept through system life cycle. This includes lighting, structural, electrical and controls.
Create project bill of materials and production documents
Communicate technical information both written and verbal
Review project specifications and bid plans for projects to ensure specs are met and we are positioned well on project.
Prepares and presents technical presentation materials and drawings utilizing CAD and other software programs.
Fine tune/ field re-aim Musco product
Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related technical degree is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Specifications
Proficiency in the use of Auto CAD 2011
General proficiency in computer skills
Lighting design and/or electrical experience
Strong organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal skills ability to work well with direct team members and external customers, contractors, and specifiers.
Strong motivational aptitude
Strong attention to detail

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
