Position Requirements and Preferences: Master?s Degree in Composition or English, or any Master?s Degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Composition or English.
Position Summary:
English Composition I ? This course has been designed as an introduction to the writing process. Emphasis will be placed on pre-writing, careful drafting, and critical revision of the basic essay, with particular attention to audience analysis, identification of purpose, thesis formation, incorporation of supporting materials and overall essay organization. Analysis of the students? own writing and that of others will be emphasized.
English Composition II ? Following Composition I, this course continues developing students? writing skills and prepares students for the research projects and critical thinking that they will need in future courses and beyond. Students will read scholarly writing, participate in discussion, study argument and research methods, and prepare research projects, such as a hypothesis, a project proposal, or abstract, and an annotated bibliography.
Responsibilities: Instructor will teach 1-3 sections of English Composition I or II (LDRS 101 or 102) on the traditional campus. Instructor will teach according to the guidelines agreed upon by the English department, and as outlined in the William Penn University course catalog.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
